“Democrats for Neighborhood Action (DNA) overwhelmingly endorsed Dianne Feinstein in her bid for reelection to the United States Senate. Senator Feinstein is a proven leader in the Democratic Party and we commend her for fighting to protect the environment, increase fuel economy standards, improve our cybersecurity, and renew the assault weapons ban. Our organization firmly believes that Senator Feinstein will continue her contributions to the State of California as she has over the course of her many decades of public service,” said Nick Schultz, President of Democrats for Neighborhood Action.
Democrats for Neighborhood Action (DNA) is a chartered club with the Los Angeles County Democratic Party and the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley. It is comprised of Democratic voters and activists largely residing in the Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and Echo Park neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
“We are excited to endorse Senator Dianne Feinstein for her reelection to the U.S. Senate, representing the people of California. Senator Feinstein and Mayor Ed Lee worked closely together to improve the lives of San Francisco families, and this club is proud to support her,” said Selina Sun, President of the Edwin M. “Fresno Stonewall Democratic Club proudly endorses Senator Dianne Feinstein for reelection. Senator Feinstein has always supported the LGBTQ community when others didn't. The Fresno Stonewall Democrats is a chartered club of the Democratic Party’s County Central Committee. The club is devoted to advancing the equal rights of all people, regardless of sexual orientation, preference, or identity.
“We believe that Senator Feinstein is the most capable and accomplished candidate to represent California in Washington DC during these especially challenging times,” said Heat of Los Angeles president Lindsay Carlson. “Her legacy can be felt across countless areas in the political arena: from her lifelong fight for women’s rights and pay equity, to the makeup of the federal judiciary, to national security, to the fight against LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS discrimination, to her tireless leadership on gun control. We support Senator Feinstein and we are proud to endorse her.”
The Heart of Los Angeles Democratic Club is a Los Angeles County-wide Democratic Club whose primary purpose is dedicated to actively promoting the full and equal representation of women in the local and national body politic
‘We are proud to support Senator Feinstein in her reelection bid for the US Senate. Senator Feinstein’s steady leadership and vast experience have served California well and are important in light of current administration in the White House. Californians are lucky to have her represent us in Congress and we enthusiastically support and encourage everyone to vote for Senator Dianne Feinstein in 2018,” said Corey Smith, President of the United Democratic Club.
Founded in 2016, the United Democratic Club (UDC) is a diverse group of Democrats who seek to unify and empower Democrats across San Francisco to foster civic and philanthropic engagement.
“I am so honored to have the support of grassroots Democrats across California who are leading the fight for our state’s values,” Senator Feinstein said. “These party leaders are doing the important work to win elections and serve our communities by registering voters, building a statewide party infrastructure second to none and making California a deep blue state of resistance. I’m proud to stand with the grassroots of our party.”
Since her election in 1992, Sen. Feinstein has focused on solving problems facing California and our nation. Her accomplishments include legislation increasing vehicle fuel economy standards; protecting amateur athletes from sexual abuse; preserving the Mojave Desert, Lake Tahoe and our forests; consumer protection, food safety and cyber security; drought relief; securing funding for critical projects; and commonsense gun reform, including the landmark assault weapons ban.
Sen. Feinstein’s career has been one of firsts – she was the first woman President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the first woman Mayor of San Francisco, the first woman elected Senator of California, the first woman member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the first woman to be ranking member of the Committee. She also was the first woman to chair the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Rules and Administration Committee. Today, she continues to work on critical issues and fight for California’s values.
